Post subject: Racial probs in UK for foreign dentists
please forget ur idea of going to uk..I was in uk for 1 year.passed mfds part A.still no attachments..In london, alone there are around 200 people with no no jobs, even though they passed MFDS part A.unless, u have influence, there is nomScope for foreign dentists there..this is the truth..alos, u need plenty of money to survive there, inspite of u having no job.U need Approx 4000 POUNDS for 1 year..it is very expensive..Racial problems are very high in UK aswell as Europe ,when compared with US..
i am trying to go to Us now

Post subject: Dentists in UK
Hey toothaches,
Believe me dentistry in the UK is a big headache. Even if you clear MFDS I & II You still have to clear a clinical part esp in oral surgery which you are not allowed to do unless you work as an intern for a year in some hospital. Then again you are not allowed to intern if you have no contacts.........so folks......decide what is best for you........

Since my last post i have found that Dentistry in UK is really bad as compared to other countries. US is much more advanced. Even Australia is better

Hey Soneel
US more advanced yes, but you grow old by the time you complete the schooling....
Australia...I've heard that it is next to impossible to get a work permit....
so.....India is the best:)

If you r bound to stay in UK, i guess you have no option but to make the best of the situation. I have heard that the Russian PG degree is WHO recognised. So, u can do that and then go to UK. It's easier and cheaper
