59th INDIAN DENTAL CONFERENCE which was held at LUDHIANA from 27th to 30th January 2006 was a mega success.Chief guest on this occasion was Padam Bhushan Dr. ANIL KOHLI,President DCI, and Guest of honour was Lt.Gen. PARAMJIT SINGH,Director General Dental Services.
3000 delegates from India and abroad have attented the conference.
In the Scientific 48 Guest speakers and 400 free papers were read . There were 2 symposiums :the first one being on HIV and ITS PROTECTION and the second one on NO TOBACCO.
In the trade fair there were 140 stalls put up.
Carnival was at Hardy's World and the Banquet was at Reviera Resorts.
Dr. S.G. DAMLE took over as the new President of IDA and Dr.M.C.MOHAN as President elect.
